    success!

Shot off my first ever 223 reloads . Pretty damn accurate and no problems whatsoever... I'm glad I.got into reloading.. thanks everyone for the help!

Ignore the 2 outside the middle circle... that was my friend shooting the target for fun with his iron sights. The grouping in the middle is from my reloads from my AR..

Welcome to the club, I just started reloading as well. It's a relief when it all works and double bonus that it shoots better than commercial ammo at a lower cost.

Nice grouping. How far was the target? What recipe did you use for your reloads?

I'm sorry I need to be more specific.. please dont judge me this is only my 2nd time shooting my rifle and these were my first ever reloads.

          - I used my AR15 CMMG Upper 16'' carbine length 1:9 twist barrel.
          - 50 yards with a BSN 4X by 30mm rifle scope
          - I used Hornady vmax bullets 53gr with 20.3 .4 gr of IMR 4198. Winchester Primers.

I'm going to try to find some.heavier bullets and make some.rounds and go out 100 yards. I'm still proud of this tho

53 and 55 grain projectiles are good well past 200 yards. I hit steel plates at 300 and 400 using a red dot scope.

Congrats, nice job! It is pretty exciting when you see what you can create by reloading.

No judgement. Looks good. I just started reloading also. Just want to know recipes to compare to what I already tried. My groupings were not as good using Win 748, BLC2 or IMR 4895 with Hornady 55gr FMJBT W/C at 50 yards. Maybe I should use a better scope. I was using a red dot sightmark.

good job. IMR4198 is probably my favorite powder.
