    Double Charge

Does't matter how long you've been reloading, you need to pay strict attention to your loads!

Yikes. Glad you were not hurt. Were you using a single stage or progressive press? Any idea on how the double charge happens?

Nasty...you have to visually check every charge. I make a habit of it.
A powder check die like the powder cop will also help avoid double charges
Just curios one what powder you used.

Not a single stage with a visual powder check of each casing after you drop 50 metered charges or 25 in my case

Do we need a thread about another thread?

Also nice to pick a powder that takes up at least 55% of the case volume.

Makes spotting issues a bit more obvious.

Are you going to make this thread every day? Or did you forget about the one from yesterday? http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=794601

Wouldn't a double charge spillover the top of the case ?
