Big score on Stripper Clips!

some are busted but most are usable! 200+ or so. Just got off work, sat down with my wifey and we put rounds on stripper clips and talked about our day. lol.

I have a few hundred of those. Nice for storing the ammunition in a ready to go state. Also reminds me to get some more feeding spoons.

I do not care much for the stripper clips for .223. THey seem like they only last a time or two before they break. Why can't they make them closer to the 7.62x39 design? At least thems reusable...

Well now I have the ability to pick up as many as I need whenever, so I'm not worried about them breaking.

Go get yourself a StripLULA (from Amazon or elsewhere) if you don't already have one. You'll never go back to GI spoons again.

BTW, if the little tabs bust, just pinch the ends a bit with some needlenose pliers, they will retain the ammo and work just as good.

That is good to know. I LOVE storing ammo on strippers for some reason (less garbage in the field) but I hate that them lil tabs break. Why not just design some new 5.56 strippers to match the 7.62 ones... jus sayin...

I remember range duty in the Army, loading thousands of rounds with strippers our fingers use to hurt when we were done.

as a range RSO / OIC and armory supervisor, my policy for tax paying citizens as follows:
....
if any of our range staff was caught selling range litter - I would stomp their nuts.

Who would have thunk it, I always thought Stripper Clips were quick release bra clasps used by strippers and other nefarious women!
