It is Lake City military surplus ammo made in 2010 and it is gtg. Not sure what the bullet grain weight is. Use a magnet, if it attracts a magnet, it's probably XM855 62gr steel core, if not, it's XM193 55 gr. If it attracts a magnet you can't shoot it at So Cal ranges.Comment

Where are you seeing crimps? All of the crimps I have seen have been looking like 3 prongs on the primer, These primers look free of that.
OP:
I say shoot them where you can.7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

I thought that crimps were like, little stake looking things, kinda like how they set a diamond, with little feetsies sticking out, I will go and look for a shell or two and show you what I mean, So now there are TWO different types of crimps?
Damn...7 Billion people on the planet. They aint ALL gonna astronauts. Some will get hit by trains...

Here's an example of a few types of crimps used in military ammunition. These are in Yugoslav 7.92MM Mauser ammo, but they are the common types. You can Google "Images" for different Countries style of primer crimps used in military ammunition. Some are unique.

Ahhhhhhh.
I have only seen 3 stab crimps. I figured that everyone did pretty much the same thing. LoL.
Okay, so then NOW I know everything...

Honestly, the "circular crimp" on some 5.56mm does not bother my Dillon 650, I can still seat primers without swaging.
I just did 800 TAA and am Blasting through LC 09, 10, 11, 12, and 13, my squashed primer rate is like 1 out of 300.
I will say that would have been impossible with my 550b, I guess it's the 650's superior priming system.Comment

The truth is, all you know for sure is it has a Lake City 2010 case. There has been so much various stuff sold by Federal that it's impossible to tell what you have without the original packaging.Comment
