    Reloading box labels

I got tired of filling out the same info 10 times for the same load. I have a zillion of the plastic boxes and after years I am finally out of labels. So I created an Excel file that you fill out the first label and it auto fills the next 12. You can use sticky paper or just use packing tape to adhere the label to the box.

I Used 3 different colors and always use caps.

I have the file if anyone wants it PM me your email address. Its easy to change if you like other info than what I have down.

Way more advanced than my writing the load on a piece of the primer box.

Looks nice but not enough data for my tastes.

I have an excel file that I use for load development and it is printed on a 3x5 index card that I fill in and take to the range.

You might be interested in these also. They don't have text fields setup, but you can use Acrobat to insert text boxes.

that's what I do, (it saves me from having to write the primer type in)

golly, I just write one or two pieces of key info, written in shorthand on a piece of tape. All the other details are written ONCE in the little black book and is the master reference to include chrono info, accuracy at a particular distance, etc etc. all written in one place, one time. The ammo itself just needs a reference so I know where to look in the little black book.

I'd hate to have to print something out for every MTM box! I'd have to keep a junker laptop in the garage and a hand-me-down half-dead printer too just to print ammo labels!

Anyways, if that works for you, more power to ya! Excel functions are certainly useful, arent they.

There's room in the last field for that. the only place I need COL is on new loads. I hardly do that anymore.

I found these labels online, they are what caused me to do my own. I wanted to write the info ONCE not a bunch of times.

I can always expand for load development or use the few real labels I have left. This is for mass loadings like the 1800 10MM rounds I made. Not for the 100 rounds of 300 Win Mag I made for the deer and elk guns. I am a hunter and plinker not a competitor.

If you have a better file you should share it with us, information is what makes us stronger.

I am a blue tape junkie just ask the guys that come over for reloading lessons. They will tell you of my rolls and rolls.........Never used a primer box, but that is a great idea. I just throw them in recycling anyways. Sharing ideas is always good for us.

Golly I just tape the label in my master load book and kill 2 birds.

I reload at most 1200 rounds in a day with me and my son on the presses. thats 2 sheets of paper at the most. Hardly need a junker laptop for that. But then again I have no idea of the volume a real reloader can produce. I only have 3 Dillons.

lol, I write the data on a ripped-off scrap piece of paper and toss it in the cartridge box. I do log the data in my reloading folder so I don't forget, but I hate things stuck on my boxes, just clutters stuff up. some of my bullets came with little cards to write the data on but the damned spaces are too small to write in with sausage fingers. scraps of paper works for me! labels are nice if you're into nice things though, good thread.
