    Lee dies vs. the world...

After seeing the dies today from RCBS, I will say this:

They are NICE, but Mckayla is NOT impressed.

I think Lee has spoiled me in that they give you all kinds of great things with their die sets while other folks simply give you a pretty set of dies, but the reality is, well, if you are starting out, you REALLY should start with a set of Lee dies. At least if we had the Lee dies we could have expanded and dropped powder at the same time.

That is all I am saying...

Im of the same opinion, unless you need specialty dies for something. Also like the design of the decapping pin.

                  Lee is a great deal,
                  under appreciated stuff,
love their reloading kits for each caliber,
use 'em for a backup on each caliber

Only thing I don't like about lee dies is the fixed decapping pin. I wouldn't buy a set in a caliber you might run Berdan brass through but otherwise, they do fine. I have about 6-8 sets of them....

                      So far, so good

Lee dies work for me, I've loaded 38 and now 9mm on them. Pretty easy instructions on how to setup the dies and easy to adjust.

I just got their 4-die .45ACP set to prepare for the all steel .45ACP pistol i plan on getting before the end of the year.

I might try other die brands as soon as I break a Lee die.

I like Lee dies, they don't give me any problems and I can't see paying a whole lot more for the same quality in another brand.

There are some elitists out there that think they're too good for LEE. But all their products have served me well. Now if only they make a .308 seating die that has a built in mic.
