Natchez has CCI primers, all of them, SRP, LRP, SPP, LPP

Quamtity limit of 2000 primers though. I'd pass on them, but if you're in need 0, here they are

With a 2k limit per day, meaning an order and a HAZMAT for 2k, the price is effectively $48 per thousand. I don't need any powder or mix of primers to add to the order and help justify the HAZMAT fee. It can't help me much over waiting to buy locally, probably 1k at a time, and probably willing to pay at least $50 per thousand, without shipping but with tax.

With the quantity limit, the hazmat shipping charge kind of kills it unless you need multiple types. $27.50 hazmat fee. If they had any powder you might be able to make it worth it. Natchez shipping is pricey too.

Don't mean to be a gloomy gus, but these quantity limits on components and ammo are making costs prohibitive.

Thanks for the notice OP. Too expensive for me but great for the guys who really need it.

Agreed. Thanks to the OP. But I tried hard to buy other components to just justify the hazmat fee. No dice. Hopefully, this might be a sign that the choke hold on components is starting to ease.

There's no hard fast rule, it's all dictated by personal need. If it takes 4 months to fire off a 1000 rounds, then who really cares what it costs you and you may not want to tie up a bunch of money in 10k primers. Or you might not have enough for more than 2k anyways from any source. Or, you just can't find them anywhere (not looking hard enough imo).

Others, could not shoot much but live in a liberal ****hole county like I do with only one real LGS that hasn't seen a primer since November. So, they can pay 50 bucks to Natchez delivered or drive the mountain over to San Jose, 70 plus miles RT, gas, wear and tear, nasty road and 2-3 hours out of your life to buy 2k at 35.00 each. If you place value on your time, they are costing way more than 50 bucks per 1k.

Others, like me, may shoot a lot more and purchasing like this could add up fast and hard. Others may be stocked pretty deep and able to afford 15-20k when those deals occasionally pop up.

To each his own. It is not for me to decide or advise who one should buy from and in what quantity and price point. As long as you are shooting, I'm happy.
Again, thanks for the notification OP.

Yeah the hazmat and shipping kills this deal on 2k......comes to about 60.00per 1k

                          Ill wait..

As someone else has said, you care more about cost per shot when you are laying in some depth of backup supplies, not when you are dead in the water, desperate for whatever. Bulk buys, when not in a panic, mean good values making sense. There is just a difference between WANTING primers and NEEDING primers. It would be pretty difficult for the cost of primers to make reloading prohibitive compared to buying ammo. And who's going to give up there pet load and favored bullet? If desperate, being able to buy 2k might look pretty good under virtually any circumstances.

Now, the way to avoid being continuously desperate is to reload less or shoot less until things start to make sense again.

I really wish I had placed an order for those BR4's before the SHTF, would have cost me $160/5k, now it's going to cost me over $300 and that is IF and WHEN they come in stock.

Last week I got the notification I was waiting for from wideners for the BR4's, unfortunately it was at 11:34pm and I was sleeping and when I woke up in the morning I got online to order them and they were all gone again
