Hi All.. just moved to the Sacramento area.. got my first g19 and bought a used Lee turret today, ordered the 4pc Lee dies online.

Would love to join the group.. are the meetings only once/month on 2nd wednesdays, or do people meet up informally on their own time?

Suggestion for next meeting... Interesting tools or reloading related finds.

For example, I recently found a spent case which has a very obvious Glock bulge and another which appears to have been fired in a pistol it was not designed for. Our monthly swap is a good time as well.

Funny you said that... I am going to start a new program (I plan on putting this in an email this week). I have started a "prize" stash. My plan is as follows:

1. Members make a suggestion for a meeting topic.
2. If your topic for the meeting is chosen, prize is won.

Actually, I just installed a new recoil spring and SRT kit in my P229 last night that I was planning on checking it out saturday morning. I'll PM you.

How about repurposing brass. IE 45-90 to 45-70 or .223 to 300 blk. Anyone done?

9mm Luger to 9mm mak
30-06 to 8mm Mauser

And don't forget about annealing.

Just and FYI... I am most likely going to move this month's meeting to Thursday (5/15) night instead of Wednesday. My daughters birthday is the 14th and I could see my self getting into a lot of trouble for missing it.

I've done 308 to 7mm-08 recently. Not a big deal. I've never annealed cases.

Well then there it is a good idea for a meet. I like he annealing also I seen a guy on another forum made a home annealer. I'm looking into building one

This could be interesting. I like the Giraud annealer but not the price. I'd need to see a big benefit like I did with the Giraud trimmer.
