You can buy 10 cavity molds.
    They just cost more.

Anyone serious will end up with molds with more cavities if they need to make a lot of bullets.

I found some Silver State 9mm 125 g lead bullets at Turners 500 for $18 - smokin price. At Phillips Wholesale in Covina they were $30.

I just ordered 3000 Zero 125G FMG from Ghostholster for $210 shipped. It turns out it was their last bag of bullets, but Angus has good prices and he is in Phoenix so it gets here pretty quickly.

          That is a smoking deal.
          Probably old stock.

          I pay $38 per 1K 9mm 125's right now which works out to $19 per 500.
I miss the good old days (last year) of $25 per 1K cast 9mm bullets...

Montana Gold gets their bullets from Golden West Brass which is located here in SoCal.
Um.. where did you get that information?

Why would they be called Montana Gold if they weren't actually manufactured IN Montana? Could it be the other way around? Golden West gets their bullets from MG and rebrands them?

powdervalleyinc.com is a descent source of reloading supplies. I just purchased 3000 lead 45 acp bullets from them... don't forget to wear gloves while handling toxins...

I still use Precision Bullets in .40S&W and .45ACP, but I haven't ordered from them in about 6 months (I just don't shoot much pistol anymore).

I haven't bought 9mm in ages, but my father is the only person shooting my 9mm pistols, and he doesn't go to the range much anymore. So I occasionally get 124 or 147 plated or jacketed for him whenever he asks. I think the last batch of 9mm was Rainier. I had a few K of the Golden West 147s, but my father shot all those awhile back.

Free lead is not hard to find. Just get a dog, walk him in different areas every night and bring your tire weight hammer with you.

As far as the start up cost goes. Don't forget about a lube sizer. Don't even think about casting in any volume unless you get a Star lube sizer with all the dies you'll need.

Okay - so they aren't Bernies or a brand name? I was more wondering if you are happy with their performance.

I know this is the wrong thread but if anyone is interested I have 1000 rounds of Rainier .40 caliber 180 gr TCJ HP and about 850 rounds of Rainier .40 caliber 135 gr TCJ HP I'm trying to sell.

Call Montana Gold and ask them yourself.

Golden West told me this awhile back and I called Montana Gold and they confirmed it. I don't know about all calibers but all of Montana Gold's 55gr .224 is made by Golden West.
