    To over simplify it. the projectile starts it's flight path while still in the brass. If you have inconsistencies in the brass, you will have inconsistencies in the bullets flight path. Also, some brass is easier to work than other brass and some holds up longer than others.

      HMMM, what if you trim every piece of brass? Id think the thickness varrations, as well as internal case capasity are bigger issues

        Federal AE brass is 'FC'.

        FC brass is notoriously soft and the primer pockets loosen quickly.

            if you want cheap brass there my favorite place is



            they have all head stamps 1000 once fired lc is like 60 bucks -+ and they are nice people too.
