I did not say you don't.

I said you are using the wrong terminology for the sizing die. You called it a swaging die. Call it the right name because it's confusing.

Are you saying there is an issue with the sizing die that makes the sized brass not fit your case gauge?

I think he was referring to the RCBS press mounted swager. I think his question is whether enough brass can be displaced when swaging to spread the head enough to make case gauging a "fail". At least that was my read.

I use a Dillon swager. These things need to be adjusted so they just barely kiss the primer pocket. If you set it up to roll the edge like cutter would, it will overdo it and deform the casehead.

I own an RCBS on press swager. I have never had any problems with it distorting case heads. Unfortunately, the only small primer pockets I have used it on were 9mm NATO brass and very few of those, no rifle cases. Nowadays I buy new brass almost exclusively.
