I think people get too locked in on the hodgdon powder, they are good, but, there are other brands out there. The beauty of this shortage was being able to find

Other powders to use. Bullseye to me works better than win 231/hp38. But that's me. I don't even order powder through the net now, my lgs has been getting powder every two weeks so I save on hazmat and shipping. Although I am looking for that elusive re7. I was able to load over 300 plinking rounds on a lb of that stuff.

I agree. It's out there you just need to look often. I'm looking for some rifle powder for 223 other than h335 that everyone else wants. Lately I've seen pistol powder out there more than rifle. Locally in San Diego there are not many places to look so I check online often.

Breco Firearms in Clovis posted a picture on their Facebook page last week showing that they had a pretty good supply of powder. I'm not sure what kind though.

Lol 2 pounds? Hardly worth it.....
I order 50 pounds of rl22, 30 of alliant powder pro varmint, and 10 of blue dot. When I get h4350 ill order 80 and if I have my 308 still h4895. It's not hoarding when you go shooting.

I agree, I shoot a lot so want enough on hand to get through all these tribulations we are prey too. If the market goes completely dry or the big government fascists pass even more insanity, i can go bang-bang long time.

What do they want 40 a pound? I'm wondering if I can still get 55 gallon drums full and sell off half of it.

Hp38 and 231 are identical powders. I have spoken with hodgdon directly about this. It didnt used to be but now it is. If you pull up their website and compare the data its exactly the same.

Hp38 is usually easier to find cause 231 is still more popular. I should be getting a few jugs in a month or so.

Go to a bar every night for several weeks your bound to get laid. You're going to have to look day after day and check everywhere often and be patient as hell and sometimes you'll score. Make sure you have accounts on every site and log in immediately. Have several tabs open at once. Hit reload often. I think google chrome or Firefox will auto log you in most sites.

I scored a lot of imr4895 from 3rd gen. Found a keg of BE from wideners I think. Scored imr4350 from ??? Bruno's has good supply. Got lots of primers from them as well as powder.

Diligence diligence diligence. I sucks and it's a pain in the a**. And you'll have to pay lots of hazmat fees. Keep at it. Since the federal BS died I suspect things will begin slow return to normalcy. Look at AR prices lately. They're coming down.

They're not liberals, they're leftists. Please don't use the former for the latter. Liberals are Locke, Jefferson, Burke, Hayek. Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.
