Any one know where to find some of these i know its a waiting game i have been looking for over a week now still havent found any CCI 200 would be ideal but i would go with what i could find at this point in time.

Only a week? That's not so bad. Best advice I could give you is to keep looking. They show up occasionally, but never last long.

Figured as much i am patient anyways, i just havent quite decided on the reloader yet, i love the dillion but its alot of money if you ask me so im weighing my options i should have already done it. but i might pull the trigger next month figured i better buy the necessities first.

What caliber large rifle and what volume are you expecting to shoot? IMHO, progressive and large rifle is a mismatch...especially on a new reloader.

i get a my gun friday its a TC dimension 22-250 i will be getting different barrels eventually, the stock was ugly at first it kind of grows on ya, i got to see it yesterday and hold it, its very comfortable so dont care what it looks like now

You want a Dillon to feed a TC? Save the Dillon for high volume shooting on established loads. Do yourself a favor and get a good single stage press for that TC. There will always be a use for a single stage press on the bench.

Excellent advice.

I load my handgun on a Dillon. All my rifle rounds on a single stage press or hand dies.

An RCBS Rock chucker is pretty much what all others are judged by. Lyman Crusher is a good one..as is Redding. Lotta lee fans here, but I don't care for potmetal. Forster is prolly the bestest, but they're pretty proud ($) of it. My RCBS Reloader special got me by for many years. The Redding T7 turret press pretty much took it's place except for some processing. A number of good "O" frame single stage presses by the major mfg's. They all work the same. If you get into forming brass, the heavier presses shine. I do really like my T7 and it's nice not having to change dies back and forth. I can keep 2 sets loaded in one head. With pre-processed brass 500 rounds in an evening are quite doable. Be hard pressed to shoot that much in a TC all weekend.

Get a good powder measure, a good (magnetic dampening) scale, a powder trickler, primer flipper, priming tool (press mounted, hand or bench mounted. Maybe a case gauge, dies (i like redding dies with added lee collet die for bolt or breech loaders), shell holder, case trimmer and a few other small accessories. All the little stuff will cost more than a good single stage press...and you'll need most/all of it with any press.

If at some point you start shooting a lot of pistol calibers, or even a thirsty AR. you can always add a progressive, but the single stage will still provide load development and other duties. Making 22-250 brass from .308 could be one of those.

www.midwayusa.com has a good review section on the various presses. $150 +/- will get a very good press. IMHO the kits always cheap out somewhere, but they're worth looking at.

a rcbs rockchucker 2 and a rcbs hand primer would be a good start with the above mentioned items....two or three reloading books would be a great start...22-250 is a precision load--- single stage is the way to go...take your time and enjoy your results.... cheers...

This will give you a good idea of what's needed for single stage loading for your rifle. If you can get your hands on a Forster Co-Ax, I'd personally vouch for one of those.

I got an RCBS Rockchucker kit as a teenager. Many decades later, everything that was not lost in the many moves I had down through time is still working like new.

You can do much worse than getting an RCBS Rockchucker Supreme kit. Everything that comes in that kit (unlike most "kits") is top quality and will last your lifetime.

Loving it so far. Very sturdy.
