But I am having a hard time finding any good data, such as start and max loads, as well as OAL and case trim length.
If anybody can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
What is the specific nosler part number of the bullets?
I can do a quickload pass with those bullets and H4895 for you.

This guy had poor results with standard 0.264" bullets:
I purchased an Arisaka custom rifle for a song at a gun show. After the first shot I realized it was a wild cat and had the gunsmith check the chamber...

Might want to get some proper 0.268" bullets for it.

Funny , reading the link , the guy didn't even know what cal/round it was before firing it. Was it a T38 or T99 before he started. Was it a " Last Ditch " Arisaka ? Last Ditch were just that , something to fire at the enemy , earlier ones ( like mine ) couldn't be blown up with over charges by a Mr. Akley.
In the linked post some guy even said " It's a jap gun and they lost the war".
AR15/M16 were used in Viet Nam , we lost that one by many accounts , so that doesn't say much but his opinion.

Slug the bore , or try cast bullets sized to .266 ( with a 140 gr cast sized .266 , mine shoots the hairs off a gnats butt at 200 yards ).
The original 6.5 JAP had an OAL of 2.94 , same case length , so if the barrel hasn't been set back when rechambered it will have a lot of freebore for the shorter OAL
      bullets in common use today.
I didn't have a scope on mine till my eyes went bad ,had/ has a Williams 5D JEM peep used before the scope was mounted. Wanting to go back to it as soon as I find a different front sight ( looking for a fire sight of the proper height now to help these old eyes).

Funny how youngins only know what they read on this here interweb or believe the old wives tales and stories about a friend of a friend of a brother-in-law about these old guns.

Bweise says "I have to say the situation was not at all helped by 22 yr old former Airsoft douches who kept touting here, "But possession is not illegal!" "

Fighting on the internet is like being in the special Olympics , everybody wins but your still retarded.

          That'd be great Randal!!!
          Nosler part# 26725
          CUSTOM COMPETITION 6.5MM / .264" BULLETS

Back when I was loading a lot, some 20 years ago, I had put together and fired about 200 loads for this rifle using mostly nosler projectiles.
The rifle was very accurate at 100yds using standard .264" bullets.
