PRICE CHECK for Precision Delta customers...

Anyone order from Precision Delta last year or this year and have your receipt handy?

I think I already know this answer and why but if you have it handy could you look at it and tell whether or not thereis a FEDERAL EXCISE TAX charge of 11% on it.

If I am correct, only those that ordered reloads from them will prolly have it. In my case I ordered 10mm eval packs but I have never before seen a federal excise tax show up on anything. All pricing was still the same as stated online but this was just new to me when I saw it. And of course, that stupid chain letter going around made me double take it...

I placed my order with them on the 22nd of Jan, for 2000 pieces of .451 bullets, and they billed me on Mar 18th. No extra charges to my order.

I have had 8K projectiles on order with them for nearly two months. Still waiting patiently. I have never had any extra charges from them in the past.

Ordered 1K 40/180g FMJ ($126) and 1K 9/124g JHP on 4 January ($90). Order shipped and my MC was charged on 29 January -- no surcharge/taxes.

There is ZERO Federal Excise Tax on components. Only complete loaded ammunition. Components are ammunition for purposes of the GCA but not for FET. Bullet manufacturers don't pay FET on bullets.

You are talking about their loaded ammo, right Stilly?

Got in before they shut the window eh?

The last time I bought loaded 10mm, it was Underwood. Wonderful ammo. I bet they are sold out for years.

Yes. Loaded ammo was all that I had on the order.

I know most people go to PD to order projectiles. I had never ordered from them at all (because I tend to run plated bullets) but I thought their prices for loaded 10mm were good. They still are good prices.

I don't know about there loaded ammo but the y did up there prices a few dollars on 230gn 45 and 124gn 9mm.

They probably did on other products as well but those are the only products of there's that I follow.
I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong.

OKay I just was unaware that that was how they printed out their receipts. They told me today that they been doing it like that for over 22 years... So okay.

                  Damn chain letters...
