I have bottles that I didn't open for over a year. The "seal" inside the lid practically glued itself to the bottle again and it felt like popping a factory-fresh bottle all over.

You seem to have been robbed slightly.

I'd suggest double-checking your weighing methods, checking the accuracy of your scale, then checking if the containers you bought are actually labeled for one pound.

Every time I open an already used can with the foam seal, it's like it was never opened before. You wuz robbed.

I guess it all depends on how many loads I've done. On a real note I think you was robbed. I would speak with the person or store you got it/them from . Come to think of it I have never done/thought of checking the weight of a new can of powder.

Well I am starting to think I got shorted and the cans were opened before.
I don't think the seller did this intentional. The cans are 37 years old, maybe he used some a Loooooooong time ago and forgot about it.
May weighing methods are correct and my scale spot on, I routinely check my scale with check weights. Cans are labeled 1 lb.

On a side note I shot some of my loaded rounds from my 03A3 and they shoot spot on just like I loaded with the new powder
