    .40 PDX question

So I picked up a couple boxes of Winchester PDX from my buddy the other day and when I checked them out I noticed that the ammo looked different in each box. I am not worried about the difference in the ammo, just trying to figure out what the ammo on the right might be. It's stamped Winchester on the bottom, no +p markings.

Reloads and put back into box? OOPS? Better photos would be nice.

Many folks shoot their bullets adn then save the brass and reload it, but in this case, maybe he just forgot and ended up just using the box to hold his reloads a long time ago, or MAYBE he bought them from an estate sale and someone reboxed their reloads with them. The one on the right looks like a cast lead HP but the photo is rather dark.

    Use a flash.

BETTER yet, check it out, here is what a professional photographer who has all of the high tech gear does in a case like this:

Take a piece of notebook paper and reshoot this photo, but pivot the camera down a little closer to the table and hold a small piece of white notebook type of paper over the FLASH unit only. OR just reshoot this with a piece of paper over the flash. White blank is preferred. I find this is the best way to obtain nice detail in flash photos...

You have my permission to use this trick always from this day forth. You are welcome.

hehe, the thing that I would do would be to take apart one of each bullet and have a look at them. MEasure the weight and powder for each and see if the primers are the same also. The silver does look like a reload though.

The ones on the right look like Winchester silvertips.

Yeah the ones on the right look PRETTY for lead but I thought that the ones on the left SHOULD be what is inside thems boxes. Go figure...

I do not think that there would be THAT much deviation on product without changing the box. Thems boxes ARE the same right?
