Any legal restrictions on getting ammo shipped to CA?

I've been looking at the ammo auctions on Gunbroker, aside from being very expensive, a lot of the auctions either (1) stipulate that they won't ship to states like Ca or NY or (2) state "make sure ammo may be shipped to your state.

Assuming its legal for me to purchase firearms and ammo w/in CA (not a felon), is there any other restriction from buying ammo retail or through auction?

Welcome folks expertise on this. Just want to make sure if I buy and pay for ammo, I don't get disqualified by the seller and charged a fee because I live in CA.

I use j and g ammo as a guide if my zip can get ammo shipped. I live in Sacramento county which is good, where as Sacramento city is bad.

Certain counties do not allow it and that SUCKS for them. I would suggest that you go to some of the places like dicker than dirt or J&G or what not and see what they say for shipping to you, what city or county you in? cause USUALLY I only see things like certain fresno or LA or oakland or something, most of the counties are the jacked up ones anyways like LA or over near SF. Ventura might also be jacked, but places like San Diego, corona, Riverside, OC I think are good.

I am in LA County and have no problem having ammo shipped to me.

Good advice, check with Cheaper Than Dirt to see if they can ship to you. Go to their site, place an order for 1 box of anything and then go to checkout and hit the box, Can We Ship to You and you will have the answer.
