Mechanical Reloading Scale... What do you use?

I have a Franklin Armory Electric scale and sometimes it is low by .1-.3 grains and I have to push it down to overload it then it reads accurately. I have changed the batteries and still get the same results which makes me nervous because I would like my scale to at least be accurate.

I was looking for suggestions on a mechanical scale.

Get a Dillon, its a RCBS 505 in different paint and cheaper. Its what I have.

Yup ... I used the Dillon for a few years and it worked well for me. It's made by Ohaus, so it is a good scale.

I have since gotten a GemPro 250 which is insanely consistent and accurate ... but is $150 and is digital.

Can't go wrong with the Dillon.

Dillon Eliminator which is made by Ohaus, IIRC.

I also have a ChargeMaster 1500 which is used most of the time now.

Lyman Ohaus M5 now, redding, herters and pacific before that.
They all work fine and are accurate, some just faster or easier than others.

Dillon or RCBS beam balance. Never trust just a digital, always have a beam balance as a backup even if just to verify the digital with. Get a set of check weights too, verify each scale once in a while. Get rid of the Franklin digital. One of the two digitals Brian Enos sells are worth using.

I calibrate my Lyman digital multiple times during use.

Also, ditch the batteries & use AC. I leave mine turned on all the time. Digital scales take some time to stabilize, ie "warm up." Make sure it's not next to any sources of interference like flouro lighting and that it's not in any direct air currents. And don't have it on the same surface as your press. They don't like shock & vibration.

Lots of haters but I have the Lee Safety Scale & have no trouble using it. Does take some getting used to but it's cheap & it works pretty well.

I have on old MidWay digital for rifle and a jewelers scale for pistol. I make my own check weights from 4 grains to 40 grains on our $15,000 digital scale at work which is good for +/ .0001 grains.
