Reloading 45acp, 9mm, 40 cal

WW231 for all three:

45 ACP (200 LSWC) - 5.3 gr
9 mm (124 gr LRN) - 4.4 gr
40 S&W (180 gr LFP) - 4.4 gr

Another vote for Unique or W231 for all.

Titegroup works well, like others have said, its a bit more tricky to work with, and the combination of moly bullets, Titegroup, and Glocks with polygonal rifling don't work so well, but its also more readily available and economical to use. I also find it to be pretty clean burning (as opposed to my experience with 231 or Bullseye).

Frankly, I wish there were way fewer powders to choose from.

231 will load all them but is out of stock everwhere. Try AA 2 will work as good may need to go to higher end then it burns clean. I have seen AA 2 at some internet sites where all the 231 is out of stock

I load all three calibers. Use Universal for the 9mm, Clays and/or N320 for .40, Unique or N310 for .45 acp.

One powder for all three? Universal or N320.

If your going for heavier bullets and/or max speed. Long shot, Blue dot, and Power Pistol

I use 231 for 45, 9mm, and 38 special. It works well and it meters really well.
