    primer pocket reamer

Anyone know where I can get one local in Sacto for .223. Sportsmans Warehouse was sold out and I have some lake city brass I need to ream out. If anyone has one they might be willing to loan or sell I could get you some beer or cash. Just trying to get some reloads done since the price of ammo has damn near doubled.

Dillon Swager... Anything else is a waste of time, I used to drill the edges out, believe me the swager is better.

I was going through a bunch of Lyman reamers 1st.

+1 on the chamfer tool. Careful to not remove more material than necessary.

Not sure what the RCBS or Dillon swaging tools cost these days, but I would consider it if I were processing thousands of range cases. For now the chamfer tool works fine for me.

+2 on the chamfer tool! using possum hollow's drill bit adaptor i just chuck it into a drill and go to town. takes almost no effert.

I have a dillon super swage on the way, if you can afford it, its probably the best option of them all.

China Harbor has a COUNTERSINK for $1.99 that fits a drill and apparently works decent but word was when I posted that you just gotta be careful, but hey! 3 seconds per shell...

I think I have what you need . PM me and I will look to see. I think it is a Lyman hand reamer. I also have the RCBS swage set if interested. I use the Dillon now.

the Dillon and RCBS swager are both right at 100 bux, or you can get the RCBS set for your press for around 40

I got my hands on both, with the intention of figuring out which I like the best, and ditching the other one. Haven't tried em yet.

any 45 degree reamer tool will do the job just fine. look at stander hardware store countersink bits as a good option.

You only want to remove as much metal as needed to remove crimp, be conservative!

You don't need a swager, but they are more uniform, and faster. Reamers, drills, and c-sinks all remove material from the brass. The swager rolls the crimp away without making the pocket sloppy or weak. The swager cost is higher, but to me worth every cent.
