Brass price is high. 1000 cases processed should be $90 or so

Good luck with that auction... I know some people that are gunna goo deep into it..

Your looking at close to 10 grand to win it... Plus if its hour first purchase you have to go threw clearing stages... Could take up to 60 days to clear before you can pick up your purchase...

        Good luck man!!

The other thing is a lot of this brass was likely fired through M-60's,M-240's and
M-249's and cases may be really stretched.

i am in El Paso Tx in the army now, about to get out...and coming back to sacramento...but out here there is a 2000 pound lot going for 5300 right now... a little much for my taste, but it is still buy-able under 6k, also back home there is one at 4600, i would drop 6k on it since it is already packed and palatalized in 40mm canisters. if i go cheap with it, ill still make a couple thousand bucks out of it. 100/1000 fully ready to load. i am waiting for the g2g from the ATF before i sell any loaded ammo.

The one near sac will go for about 8-10k.

And there is about 25k worth of brass there if you proccess it

If you dont load it... You dont need an ffl at all.. Your just selling scrap metal...

You can buy polished .223/5.56 all the time here for $60 shipped. I just sold 600 for $38 shipped.

search around and check brass prices here your 5.56 is high but I'm sure you could get much more for the 7.62 it's harder to come by.

I just bought 10K of .223 for $500. A little more than I wanted but was folks the the price increase was due to this silly goings on. Hope this helps.

is that ready to load? or still need to be sized, trimmed, swaged (if applicable)???? i thought it cost more. i used to see it here like 50 or 60 1k shipped, but not ready to load. i thought there was more money to be made : 0 but if i just polish it, i can do 50/k easy. thats just alot of sizing and trimming, forgot to turn the shop vac on and did like 2k rounds on the trimmer and shards were EVERYWHERE

$50-$60 1k polished only not preped. I've seen others here raise prices and take advantage of the current panic climate but I've kept my prices the same because i have the same loyal customers that come back to me when I have reloading supplies to sell.

I think most re loaders prefer to do the prep to save money but I could be wrong.
If you can make money selling the 5.56/crimps at $50/1k polished you'd do fine. Crimped brass sells for about $10/k less than commercial brass.
There is a lot more money in the 7.62 brass.

F*** this price jacking stuff , i am a hobbyist, trying to pass on my savings to you guys too. I CANT SELL IT YET but all my products will be JHP...looking at 225/1k 9mm, 300/1k 40sw and 360/1k 45 acp. maybe not the greatest prices, but alot better than what i have seen here. looking for as much feedback as i can get. im getting out of the Army this month, active duty for over 5 years and im ready to be done. looking to get some schooling and have a side business. i just joined CalGuns... and i hope i actually get feedback. sheesh the world is a funny place for us young guns. thanks again in advance. i dont know if it shows my email on my post, but either post here or email at momsaidnomunitions@gmail.com. thanks again guys and gals.
I am sorry but to me you are just a guy on the internet. All I see is a thinly veiled ad from someone trying to see what others are willing to pay for something that they may or may not have. Phishing perhaps. I do not know you and I see that you have less than 20 posts and you post here talking about selling stuff in the reloading section. I see red flags all over this so I tell you what.

I will recommend that you go to gunbroker and see what others are selling brass for over there. Then if you want to sell ammo there then knock yourself out. Otherwise go to the ammo or brass selling forums here and post away. You can even put a link to your thread in your sig here and then contribute to the calguns society with your participation, but as for showing up here throwing out prices and what not, yeah, it just looks a little suspicious to me. Heck, go to a cleanup and pass your business card and some ammo around and see what people think (or sell it for cheap). But I would steer away from this path here in these forums. There are prolly others that are nicer that did not say anything but I am not one of them and I am especially sensitive to all of this panic buying frenzy and ANYTHING remotely related that has kept me from being able to walk into a gun store and browse or purchase something without a freaking 45 minute wait.

Heck, post in the right forums and I might even make a purchase if the price is right. just PM me about it.

hey man, to each his own, and free speech, but its a little offensive that im being put on blast for being fake and phishing, im not out to scam anyone. im in the army. ft bliss texas. from sacramento. i load for me but only shoot pistol. submitted my type 06 to the ffl to be able to load and pass on the savings. im not going to illegally load and sell ammo so im putting a feeler out there. gunbroker is BS to me because people price stuff, but it never sells unless it has NR. im not going to pull the whole "im a soldier fighting for the country blah blah" but my 2 tours to iraq and 1 to Afghanistan should say something for me. i understand to you wherever you are im just some guy, but just remember there are still honest people out there and im just trying to see what the real market is for my products. i wanted to know how much rifle brass is selling for from the people who buy it. i started my account yesterday. my auction ends tomorrow. gotta start somewhere Guy... but thanks for putting me on blast. maybe when i hit a million posts that will help your ego. but when i have the stuff ready to load next week. be sure to come back and look again. thanks.

Do you see what I made bold and red? That was all that you needed to say. I personally do not care to see a life story behind any brass for sale. It is brass to me and if the description is accurate then great, if not then I will not buy from them again. I have been looking for 10mm .308 and .223 brass
and I have been at GB and I see a lot of auctions that end around .35 + a shell depending on the caliber. But I do not need to come here and look, I just go to GB because that is REAL. That is what I AM going to pay or not.

As for posts, I personally do not care how many you have. We are all new at one time or another, but usually those new folks post appropriate questions for the forums they are in. Usually people post here with a low post count because they come here and they want to learn how to do something (like, reload) and they want to be able to return and ask more questions and learn the right way to do things. Not see what others want to pay for their ammo or drop a post telling them that they are selling brass and ammo.

If you were offended that I called you on that then that is unfortunate. I would hope that being military you would have thicker skin than that. I think it does not really matter what else I say, you will only be defensive about it all so I will stop here and let the post run its life...

But by all means, post your brass and ammo in the marketplace and see what it is worth.
