The monthly newsletter from gunbroker featured this video I thought I'd share. It shows the effects of fire upon ammunition. It's about a 30 minute video but I'm amazed at the results. Definitely way less harmful than I would have thought.

One of the most informative videos I have seen this week. In all sincerity, I actually can sleep better knowing this. Great series of tests.

I could have told you what a box of 9 does when I chucked it into the fire at my bible camp... LoL. They thought it was popcorn till that hot piece tagged the chick in the leg and then they all started screaming and ran off!

I watched this whole video. Very interetsting! I would have liked to have seen what happened to an ammo can full of rounds. It was painful to see all that ammo destroyed, but for a good cause.

I think I read in one of these threads that a fireman said it was like getting hit with a paintball. Sounds about right. I just keep thinking about that poor ******* that the firemen refused to save his house when they found out there was ammo inside.
