Having a problem resizing .556 and .223 brass

It would appear that I have been wrong all along. Too mugh lube just might be the problem. A light spray is all I use but I guess it is possible it is building up in the die. When I get home I will take it apart and clean it out. THANKS!!

I thought Dillion advertises their dies have a clip you remove, then you get the pressure washer and hose out the excess grease. Then put the clip back and don't have to readjust the die. I thought that was a good idea, some justification for the high price those dies cost.

I also use the tiniest bit of lube, but I've found that the most effective way to lube and prevent a stuck case is to ensure the coating of lube goes all the way down the side of the case. The die will not carry the lube down the case. A thin uniform coat is better than a thick coat on just the top.

If you have a tough time getting the expander ball back out on the up stroke, you might want to *lightly* lube the inside of the neck.

The .223/5.56 is a more difficult case to resize because the rim is so small and narrow, the biggest danger of a stuck case is when the rim tears out of the shell holder.
