    Group buy on Bullets

Alright, I am going to try this again. I am starting a group buy for X-Treme bullets. I plan to pick them up on my way back from the next big reno show(March 28). However if I get enough people, I will pick them up sooner. For the bulk pricing, there needs to be 25,000 for the minimum order. I know I want 5,000. So we need 20,000 more. They won't have any .223 until late next month. Let me know if your interested and I'll pm you.

I'd be interested in seeing the lead bullet prices. Where are you located, by the way?

                Yep, that's the same company...
I used to swing by there and load up on stuff when I worked for GTE and had to travel up to Gardnerville/Reno with a 3/4ton van. Always came back with a full load!
They used to offer discounted freight for large orders too.
Might be worth looking into for the SoCal folks in the LA/OC areas.

High-quality, USA-made ammo for sale online, including bulk orders! Get new and remanufactured rounds at great prices. Shop 9mm, 223, 380, .45, 10mm, and more.

Any word on the price of .223 FMJs when they get them in? I'd be in for several K.

I would avoid using 0.224" copper plated cast bullets in a 223/5.56 due to past experiences with the X-Treme 0.277" bullets in the 6.8 SPC.
If they have regular type jacket/core bullets, those should be fine, but beware of plated bullets in high pressure rifle cartridges.
The plated jackets are not nearly as strong as conventional guilding metal jackets and can't handle the forces of obturation properly.

I have a 1000 of the plated X-treme bullets in 44 cal and they shoot nicely, but I did find that the copper plating comes right off once you really start to push it into the normal magnum power ranges. Great for 44 special or 1000 fps 44 mags loads.

worked up to about 10 grains of Unique. I'd get more, but the logistics of this are too complicated.

I am located in the bay area (concord). I will post the lead prices first thing tomorrow morning. At the moment I do plan on driving down to fresno and then to LA in the middle of next month, so if we get enough people and I pick up the bullets before the reno show I would be able to deliver to you. If your within 20 miles, I can drop them off to you or you can pick them up. I can also ship them in a flat rate box as well.

Jeff- I did call but they wouldn't give me a price on the 223, so I can't really say. I'll let you know when I find out more info on it.

I'm interested but would like to know where the pick-up point would be. Do the prices included shipping and all other expenses? Is that the net price to be paid?

                              Thanks
