    Yes but how much slower? IN a mix you would have fast and slow powders.. Not worth it.. since each length will burn at a different rate + it will be almost impossible to meter.

      This is a shotgun powder. You use a 30-40 grain charge. This will not create metering problems when used as intended. It will not cause metering problems with pistol charges either because a quality measure will cut it.

        I am loading for .45, using a 5 gr load, well below max. I picked out the big chunks from the whole pound then I chronographed 35 rounds, and the SD was 10, if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure Hogdon doesn't make the powder, it comes from some odd country like Latvia or Croatia, so I just didn't want to mess with them. Still looking for that rule book... Anyone else Have any experience with somthing similar?
