Also some M2 balls with different length and jacket thickness.

seat past cannelure(deeper) for 308, seat to chamber length for 7.5swiss.
My m-44 bbl can handle .308 bullets just fine, but I'd be sure to check first.

its not a matter of it not being able to handle it, its a matter of accuracy.

      using my M91/30
with .308 dia bullets, i get 4"-8" groups at 100 yards.
with .311 dia bullets, today i got 1" groups.

I've heard not-great things about that distributer, due in part to it being a one-man (or rather, woman) show, so orders get backed up fast and the website gets updated infrequently. To her credit I think she did sign up on arfcom to update some customers w/issues. I think there's still a guy there that's out 1k of brass (maybe more) since August/September and still hasn't been made right.

Let us know if they work out for you.
Ditto. Those are REALLY old prices. The same ones I saw mid last year when there was a huge fiasco with them not shipping ANY orders for months on end, but charging the CC's right away. They were out of stock on most of their stuff then too. Coulda been a correlation ya know...

So, how was the purchasing experience? Did they ship on time?

I'm thinking of picking up M855 and M2 from them.

Haven't received anything yet, nor heard from her in reply to my emails. Don't order yet. Might not go so well.

BTW: The CC was charged immediately.

Man over a month and nothing? That sucks!
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

There have been some reports on arfcom of this lady (her husband passed away and she is running the place) having people's brass for processing for a few months with no contact. I'm going to have to dispute the charges on my cc I think.

                  Not good.

                  Thanks for the heads up.

                      River Valley Ordnance

Just a heads up... I placed an order for 1k of each , the 62 gr M855 pulled and the new 62 gr w/o cannalure. and I'm not happy. I'll post pics later.

I received them about 2 months later and when I started loading I found MANY to be out of spec. The pulled bullets look like they were pulled with a pair of wire cutters and the ones with no cannalure, many of them were missing the boat tail. It looked as if they didn't go through the shaping process the entire way. Some were missing the boat tail, others were rolled at the bottom but were bulged so when you go to seat the bullet, it opens the case neck too far and the bullet drops into the case.

I talked to the lady when I placed the order and she told me her husband had died and she was trying to hold it all together. It took me a few months of sending emails and leaving messages to get in contact with them to place my order. I never ordered from them before so I can't say how the service was in the past.

If you place an order, don't hold your breath on the wait time or the quality of components.

                            Thats Ugly....

You might as well scrap those bad ones. I would heat them until the lead runs out of them. Then sell the components. Unless you send them back for refund. It could take you ages to get your money back, if then.

                            I won't be insulted
And I won't be laid a hand on.

those are machine pulled. They may not have been resized.
If you try to load them, sometimes(or most of the time for me) the bullet will get stuck in the die and I end up having to take out the depriming rod and punch out the bullet. Depending on the type of your die, it can be a real pain in the behind.

pic 4(from top) are emptied tracer rounds. The "pocket" you see at the end holds the priming compound. I too got a bunch of emptied tracers(M2's). Load'em up. They shoot fine. I save them for the 7.5Swiss since my K31 has a long throat and I can seat them further out.
