    45 acp bullet source

Anyone know of a good deal? I just finished off the last of my speers

Basically, I'm looking for 200 gr plated or fmj. I was going to go with Rainiers but maybe someone knows of a cheaper alternative?

If you know of a place that sells cheap hardcast, let me know too. I used to have a bunch of sites bookmarked but lost them all when I rebuilt my pc (doh!)

Stonewall is ALL OUT until 3/1/08

tjconevera.com has plain RN Winchester bullets for a good price and Berry's if you need them in 200g. Free shipping.

Thanks guys. Too bad stonewall is out, they had the best price on hardcast bullets out of all the links posted.

Frozenguy - yeah, I'm all stocked up on defensive ammo. This is practice/plinking. Reloading is way cheaper than buying commercial ammo.

I reload 45acp fmj in 230 grain. I am amazed that the price of bullets has doubled in that past year. Here is the results of todays search, google the name to get some more info...
Precision Delta B-45-230-FMJ is 120/1000 delivered.
                        X-treme bullets 45-230gr RN is 126/1000.
Graf and Sons offers Berry 45-230gr Double Strike 127.71/1000.
                        Montana Gold is 132.90/1000.
I have not yet contacted Precision Delta to see if this is the real deal yet. Please post whatever you go with.

For practice ammo, we carry and I use Bear Creek moly bullets. They're less than $80/k. Right now we only have 230gr RN in stock, but once he finishes with his new molds, will have 200gr RNHB again. Otherwise, MGBs is the way to go.

Too late, the order closed for this month. Probably won't post for a buy again as it seems some folks feel that you can just buy 8 cases + and get the same $5 savings per case on your own. We will continue to stock .45 ACP 230gr FMJs (.40 and .223) at the shop in 100 and 500 packs for those that don't wanna spring for a whole case on their own.
