WST is one of the best powders for 45 that there is. For low to medium loads in 9mm, WST is also hard to beat.

Meters like water, silver in color, cheap, easy to find, burns cooler, less recoil, way cleaner...
      What's not to like?

WST's only downfall is the lack of data for 9mm. Just PM and I'd be happy to share any data for it.

I prefer 231 as well for both. I've also tried BE for both and prefer the 231.

              I've tried 700X and W231, but i've settled on WSF in my 9mm, 40S&W and 45 ACP

I've just recently switched to Bullseye. I've been using Unique for years, then a few weeks ago it was sold out everywhere locally, So I decided to try and use bullseye. Its my new choice, after using the reloading cost calcuator I was actually spending MORE money using the cheaper unique powder! I still use Unique exclusively for my .45LC loads, but thats it.

I have 2lbs of Bullseye to start with and was thinking about getting some W231 also to do some comparason of feel and performance and would like to know what your thoughts are on this.

Will or dose it make a differance between the two powders and are they suited better for specific calibers ?
The Bullseye will work fine for both your 9's and the .45ACP loads. When loading the BE in that big old .45ACP case, just make sure no double charges.

W231 is a fine powder as well. It is a good middle of the road powder for many applications.

Red Dot ftw, been using red dot for everything and just found out that some people use it for lead in mil surplus rifles. Epic.

I load lots of .45ACP with BE, loaded some 9mm with BE too, the 9mm worked with no problems

I used BE in the past, as well as red dot, and herco. I ended up with some 231 and found that it seemed to shoot softer and could be used in many different loads. It is now my go to powder. HP-38 costs a bit less even though it is the same as 231. I have loaded 10's of thousands of rounds with 231 over that last 5-10 years.
