    Lee Pro 1000 spent primmers

I just finished setting up my reloading bench with a Lee Pro 1000 and for those that know the primmer discharge system they fall around the press base and thru it to a 1" hole i drilled into the work bench.

I need suggestions on what to mount under the hole to catch the spent primmers.

I'm thinking about building a wire rack that a small tupperware could slide into to catch them and then slide out to despose them. Your suggestions ?

Staple the lid to a peanut butter jar to the bottom of the bench and just screw the empty plastic jar to it. Cheap and easy.

    Also delicious.

Cut a hole in the lid.

I would use screws for that peanut butter lid. After a while, the staples will probably work loose. But fundamentally, the idea is sound.

Another option is to use that new quick-changer "Bench Plate" setup...though that costs money.

Bench plate is rather cheap (around $25) and I have one. I run the classic turret though and the primers are dropped down the ram and I have a hose clamped tube on that came with it. I would say to use a clear plastic tube that can direct them to a garbage or bucket or what not. I hoard so I save all of my primers. They might be good for making a black powder land mine for the racoons one night...

I have an empty cardboard box under it, all the primers that goes through the little hole will go into there. Of course I had a hole cut on my wooden bench so the primers can fall into the box.
