Anyone have load data for IMI44 MAG 240GR JSP? Saw it for $169/1000 but didn't find any data on it.

I know they're JSP and didn't want to make the mistake of ordering them and then finding out later that they need to be loaded using lead data.

From the looks of your SN you're loading for a Desert Eagle. I've loaded those bullets up using jacketed hollowpoint data and worked up from the min.

I would just use Hodgdon's data for the 240gr JHP, same same.

                YEAH!

I load 240 GR for the deagle all the time. Most of mine are plated but Jacketed is not that much different. H110 will give you THE POWER of the BOOM!

Bullets are bullets for the most part. I have come to find that a 240gr LEAD = 240gr PLATED = 240gr JHP FOR THE MOST PART. (please extinguish yer flames folks)

I know this because I am a heretic that loads JHP data for my plated lead rounds. I have ran into 0 problems so far. Obtain your 240gr or bullets and go with H110 and you will be in a happy place. AND of course, do NOT start with max loads... YMMV.

I have tested 44 mag with 2400, 4227, Blue Dot, H110, AA#7 and so far the clear winner is H110 although Winchester 296 I believe is pretty much the SAME thing.
In the next few weeks I will be testing out VVN105, AA#9, LilGun, HP-38 and a few others with the 240gr Plated bullets from xtreme.

I've loaded using Remington and Nosler and they shot great using W296. I realize that the bullet in question is jacketed, just like the other. Yes, I have a DE so I wanted to be sure I can shoot something that will cycle the pistol. I bought some Berry's in the past, and after reading that it had to be loaded with lead data I decided to use those in my 44 SPL instead.

                  Thanks for the responses.
