He has a decent amount and can get more. He has 20mm and 40mm and those are SUPREME for filling with ammo and putting on the shelf, well, put them on the shelf first and THEN fill with ammo...

Anyways, They are going for $15 each which beats most mil surp stores by a few dollars

I found the 20mm cans ONLY at Major Surplus in gardena and I paid $19.95 plus tax for them. I found the 40mm cans at Major surplus for $16.99 + tax and bought several and I found them at Rancho mil surp for $14.99 in really good condition but they are in temecula.

HERE is the great part about this deal, if you buy ten cans or more he will knock the price down to $10 each. Group buy anyone?

He seemed to be a good guy and may have connections for more. Anyone looking to get some amo cans then by all means get the 20mm or 40mm. BTW, 20mm is REALLY hard to find. I only found them yesterday and online they can be seen at: www.majorsurplus.com under ammo cans.

I have a few but only use 50cal or smaller now. If you fill a 50cal can with loose ammo(like 45acp) they get pretty heavy. I no longer can fill a 20mm or bigger with loose ammo and carry it around.

Too bad you are in ventura area. I am unfamiar with those locations HOWEVER, I would have to say to look online at places like shooter's HQ and sportsmans guide. Cheaper than dirt and majorsurplus

M&I surplus is just down the street from the Pomona Fairplex and they have GREAT prices on that stuff too.

30 cal ammo cans give you the least bit of storage for what you pay though. I am looking for something to fill up while it is on my shelf and keep my suply fresh and clean from the dust/dirt. I will not pay $10.00 for a 30 cal ammo can when I can pay 5$ more and get a can that will hold 3-4 times that. Good luck on your hunt. These cans can also be welded in your vehicle or mounted in a vehicle to provide a secure place to store ammo and firearms.
