I do not have one but I hear they are really good.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

They're fantastic if you're going through a lot of brass. One thing I learned with mine is that it's worth it in the long run to buy complete cutting heads for each caliber you plan to use instead of adjusting the carbide cutter each time. Also, they used to ship with an o-ring nut for the shellholder that could sometimes work itself loose. The fix was to get a lock-nut that you could size properly then torque it down. That, combined with individual cutting heads, while a bit more expensive, takes all of the guess work out of switching cartridges. Otherwise you can spend some time adjusting both the carbide tip and the depth of the shellholder to get it exact, ruining some brass in the process. That's no biggie when you're doing .223 and .308, but when it's expensive .338LM and .408CT brass, you want to avoid that play.

I got my Giraud delivered last Friday. I bought cutter heads in 22,26,27 and 30 cals. I bought shell holders in 223 Rem.,308 Win. and 30/06.

I can trim brass for 223 Rem, 260 Rem, 270 Win, 308 Win and 30/06.

I set it up and test trimmed all of the calibers. Works great. Cutter heads were easy to switch out. Changing to a new caliber only takes a few minutes if you use a locking die ring on the shell holder.

I have used the Dillon trimmer and the Gracey trimmer for ten years.

The Giraud is a much more refined trimmer than the Gracey. The Dillon works fine if you use it on a progressive set up. It's not as well suited to use on a single stage.

The Giraud is well worth it for high volume.

I love mine! After trimming some 243 brass last weekend with a lee hand trimmer, I appreciate it even more for the .223/5.56 brass.
I think I am just going to start ordering the parts for it to work with each caliber...that hand trimming is for the birds!

Good buy decision. I've had mine for 3 years. At first I balked at the price but the time savings and the consistent precision trim is worth it. It's made trimming brass almost fun.

Yes, he's low on parts right now and has to wait for replacements.
