Are Primers in Short Supply Again?

Looking for Federal Small Pistol Primers. Normally buy online but not finding anything right now (Federal or otherwise). Are primers in short supply again?

Federal Small Pistol Primers $26 per 1k

I havent noticed a primer shortage, but prices do seem to be rising a bit. Especially at the brick and mortar stores, powdervalley and wideners seem to be fine though

Try hightechammo.com, I'm going to order some stuff the week: bulk powder,30cal bullets and some primers. The website didn't say anything about being out.

they will be, but just like 08 it will not last long just make sure you have what you need for the next 8 months or so, I just got 5K each of large and small pistol, (have lots of rifle primers) I will never pay $40+ per 1K again. (unless that is what they stay at)

They weren't in short supply before I bought that last 25,000....
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Hey Bruce, I thought state law said you could only have 10,000. Wait that's at one place, my bad.

                Op,
In 09, I mean 2010 there were NO Primers.

I contacted the mfgers for a million primers group buy, and they just weren't out there. Wolf, midway, federal, cci, widners, powder valley I mean I ran the gamut. I don't think it will be like that again.

10K primer limit? Per location, like in a cabinet on west wall and one on east wall. Or the way I have it, some @ home some at the shop?

10k primer limit is only for people that live in apartments, condos, duplexes, or other attached homes.

Normal single detached homes can have as many as they like.

                      Powder is a different story.

There is a good chance that your homeowners insurance will void the policy if you are over 10k.

They legally can't do that. Why do you think that? As long as you're abiding by the laws then they have to honor their policies. I'm of course assuming tha you live in a detached single family residence.

I think there will be an election shortage, but maybe I am still bitter about the shortage from the last election...Several of the big retailers are predicting it to some degree as well.
