Would you care to share your data?

Is that a 147 load on the right? What was your length? Is it set just before the crimp?

I have a Blackout crimp die on order as I was running into issues trying to set the 147. I am going to slowly test some rounds with different OAL and no crimp.

    17.0gr of H-110 set at 2.210 & 2.190 (just before the cannelure) 2.110 & 2.060 (just after the cannelure).

Anybody see any issues with this testing method or loads?

147 on the right, 108 on the left.
      Mag length, 2.25"
The 147's are bimetallic so they are longer than your non bimetallic bullet so I can seat them longer and still have enough bullet seated.
I made these rounds before I had a crimp die so they are not crimped.
I am using 17gr of H110 for the 147's. 18gr was not accurate and 19gr blew primers. 16" Barrel.

I run the 147 up to the cannelure and then crimp. OAL is approximately 2.136 w/ 17 gr H110. So far so good.

Have the dies and been making the brass. Barrel and upper build in the next few months - I hope. Planning on playing with 175G bullets.

So that box of "blemished" 125 gr OTM bullets came in from MidwayUSA.

This is about the best picture I could get. I just grabbed the first couple out of the box.
For the price... I think this is a big win, and I'll be grabbing a few more boxes before they sell out of these.

My 500 box of blemished 125 gr OTM bullets are due to arrive from MidwayUSA in a few days. Do you know who makes these bullets?

Damn, I should have jumped on these.

I did get a chance to try out the M80 rounds I loaded. Cautiously, I started with the longest seated before the cannelure. The first round fired fine, but when I investigated further, the next round chambered was had the bullet shift and was loose. The remaining rounds in the magazine also shifted slightly.

I then tried the same with a load seated just after the cannelure, and the exact same result. I scraped all further testing with these loads.

I got some advice to size it again, and use a factory crimp. Back to the drawing board.

No idea who the manufacturer is. The box has no markings on it what so ever.

From the 300 Blackout boards, most of the guys hunting with it are using supressors. I haven't read too much on a non-suppressed.

I would imagine that it would be similar to the hunting capabilities of 7.62x39 which is also compared with a 30-30.

Again, just from reading around different boards. I am not yet a hunter and have no first hand experience.
