Like most folks, I too have had problems with their reloads. Things like bulging 9mm rounds or 308 longer than 2.8 inches. But most of the time the problem is fixable. But hey, their price is hard to beat so I still buy every once in a while.

I had a problem with Load-X. Went to the range with some friends, and had a 9mm round end up being a squib. Fortunately, we caught it, someone else was shooting my handgun, but noticed that the next round didn't chamber all the way. Inspected, and sure enough, a bullet was stuck just beyond the chamber. Used a metal rod (provided by the range) to hammer it out, no other damage appeared to the gun, and we were able to conclude the shooting session just fine - but that was the last time I ever used Load-X, and subsequently pretty much only used my own reloads after that.

First, how long ago was this? In the last 3-4 years or longer ago?

Second, when you find a squib load, dud or other problem, do you notify the reloader?

Reloaders cut corners compared to the major ammo makers. They don't have the same inspection standards as factories and they may run a batch until the powder hopper is almost empty. They may not inspect their cases as well either.

But if they don't know the frequency of errors delivered to you, the customer, they may think they're doing pretty well. Customer feedback is important here.

Not all commercial reloaders cut corners. Some actually turn out better/more consistant "match" ammo than any major factory "match" ammo.

Forgot to mention--most or all of the miwall malfs I have seen were primer failed to ignite or primer failed to ignite powder--duds dude! Good idea there, to leave some feedback with the manufacturer.......

I've shot Miwall reloads for a couple years and had no problems, but a recent batch of TMJ .45 I picked up at the Glendale Gun Show have been jamming in my 1911. Maybe 1 in 100 rounds. The But my XD 45 eats it all, no problemo.

What are the prices on these miwall reloads? Havent been able to find a price list anywhere on the net and want to know if it is worth it to go to a gun show to pick some up.

i paid about $140 for 1000 rounds of .40 S&W, plus local sales tax at the cow palace gun show. for 14 cents, i can inspect each one and still save a ton of time as i can't reload for less than 14 cents each.

haven't shot any yet though, still burning through the WWB
