It works, I can start loading .45ACP for my new Kimber Eclipse Target II.

So it wasn't me that wiped out the stuff you are looking for. 45 is just getting to expensive to shoot otherwise. That's why I bought my loading set p and a Smith & Wesson 22A so I have a cheap handgun to shoot without going broke
I need the one for my progressive. I have a single stage so I guess I can load that way since I get the lee die set as well. I was just surprised that it is out of stock virtually everywhere.

      I haven't shot a factory loaded .45ACP round in 2-3 years.
I was pricing it today, I couldn't believe how much it was.
Actually, all of it was pretty high. Absolutely insane!!

Agreed. 17.87 for 50 rounds of blazer brass at Wally world was the best price I have seen on 45 ACP around here. Bought 2 boxes. Then went home and ordered my turret press kit.

          Just a note:
I have been loading on a Hornady progressive since the first model came out and always used the #1 shell plate for all my .45ACP loading.
Hornady "found" that the .45 ACP case was not smoothly ejecting and brought out their #45.
Since I have always ejected rounds by hand, I never got the Ez-Ject mod or a #45 shell plate.
Personally, I think that Hornady has tighter tolerances for their shell plates then Lee or Dillon and they should open the tolerances up just a little.
