Bear Creek Bullets. Waterford, Ca. Phone (209) 874-4322. There shipping is cheap if you buy enough. Steve is the owner. If they dont answer, try back in a hour or two because they might be out making deliveries. I personally pick up my bullets in person but its only about an hour drive for me. P.S-- Ervington Arms in Fremont sells Bear Creek Bullets also.....

I have targets like that. The really hard part is getting the powder burns out of the paper...

Wow, I never realized how popular the 200gr LSWC bullet is but then again im farly new to reloading 45 ACP. I didnt think a SWC bullet would be popular in a 1911. I have just used the good ole 230gr bullet over 5gr of bullseye. I may have to try some those 200 grainers one day

I use 200 gr lswc cast by local IDPA shooter Pete. His price is better than anyone and the product is just as fine as well. I am going to try to get him to sell some on CG. I shoot 6.5 gr WSF at a col that feeds.

200gr LSWC over 3.7grs of Bullseye, CCI Primer, 1.250" OAL. Prolly won't work in your Glock.

200gr Bear Creek Moly SWC over 4.3 gr of Clays; Federal primers; 1.240" OAL.

Makes ~168 PF. Very nice and soft load.

LSWC should be seated so that the shoulder is just about .010" or so above the case mouth. You can futz around a bit with the OAL.

Magazines can help. Checkmate makes magazines with SWC lips and hybrid lips. I like the 7 round with heavy spring, hybrid lips and dimpled follower.

I never liked the look of SWC and then I shot some and I was hooked. Nice clean holes and fed smooth thru my SA and my RIA GI and Tactical. It is kindov like when I bought some 148gr hollow base wadcutters for 38 special. They looked funny seated flush with the case but shot great.

For my friends I load the 200gr RNFP 200gr from Missouri bullets with 4.9gr of Titegroup.
CALGUNS DICTIONARY "FLIER": when a shooter wants to turn a 1 inch group to a half inch group because he flinched.

200 SWC Missouri Bullets or Bear Creek Bullets, Win Primers or Wolf, W231 (5.3 gr).

Deadly accurate and reliable in all my 1911's and my Glock 21...however will not feed in a G30.

I haven't seen anything dangerous here but ALWAYS beware of using somebody's "pet load" from teh intrawebz thingy. Typos happen and there are some real maniacs out there that like to push the envelope. Misremembering happens as well. X amount of 2400 (for instance) might be OK. Load up the same X amount of Bullseye & you'll likely have a very short range session.

I like to bounce data off of the manufacturers' websites & see if anything looks out of line.

After awhile you'll develop a good feel for what's kosher & what to stay away from.
