Worlds Finest Trimmer?

Does it cut smoothly enough so cases don't require de burring or Chamfering?
Hoe does it compare to the "Possum Hollow" trimmer? (most folks don't own both, so a hard question to answer.)

i have a set of possum hollow trimmers. i'll do some staged pics for you to view and maybe someone else can post up pics of the wft for comparison?

i'll do 223, 308, and 30-06 later tonight when i get home. my first pass at using this setup.

I just trimmed 200 308 cases with the WFT. It works just as advertised. It trims very consistent. I found that 90% of my brass didn't require deburring, but like the PH you still have to chamfer the inside neck. as advertised, the trim length was within .001. I would say it takes between 2-5 secs for a complete trim per case. Higher the speed the better.

My next trim session I will take a video.

No regrets here although I'm a little too short on patience and only spend 1-2 seconds trimming. Very consistent in cuts and clean also.

I have it for my 223/5.56 cases, cuts are clean and no need to debur or chamfer and very consistent.

I'm always looking for more efficient ways to trim without breaking the bank on a Giraud. As of right now, this seems to be the ticket. I don't own a PH as it is never in stock anywhere, so I went with the WFT.

After trimming, even if there is a slight burr, throw it in the tumbler for a few and it smoothens out.

Just bought one for 223 right now. Lets see how this works over the Dillon RT 1200 and Giraud.

I decided I wasn't going to go with the case feeder on the LnL so that puts a damper on the 1200rt..

From my experience of having the Dillon RT1200 on my old XL650 with case feeder and running the cases through a Lyman M die expander the cuts from the trimmer were so clean that I didn't need to chamfer or deburr the case mouths.

I did testing on my accuracy loads with chamfer/deburred right off the trimmer cases and got no difference at considerable range. It looks as though from the videos I've seen of the WFT it does the exact same clean cut I got from my Dillon trimmer.

Now, knowing this and then looking at the Giraud it makes the WFT easier to love. The Giraud is pretty much the same thing only with its own motor. It chamfers the case mouth, has low cost caliber changes after initial investment, and has a trimming catch bin included.

Grab a drill and clamp it down then throw a 5gal bucket underneath and you pretty much got yourself a poor mans Giraud (without the chamfered mouths (which I don't need)).

Yes it is. I now found the easiest way for me to adjust the length is to measure the OAL of the trimmer with my caliper. Then tighten it down. It has not budged after 300 308 cases.
