i am relatively new to relaoding and these message boards- but not to shooting and hunting.

well the apps and programs i'm sure are convienent and clean- i found that using a book for each caliber and rifle works extremely well.

i use the old compisition writing notebook -one for each -- writing all pertinent data while i reload-- bullet weight, manufactor, type, and powder and load. then i number each bullet group making notes in the book. when i get to the range after each group is shot, i make notes in the book-- accuarancy, feel, and notes about the fired spent case.-signs of pressure and any markings, and primer flatness or bypass,- i find this very usefull when to determine which bullets and loads and powder my gun likes. it has also saved me when using too "hot" loads and knowing when to stop.

good luck -- the important thing-IMO is to document- trying to commit to memory can get a bit confusioning especially if you trying to dial in for accuarcy.

If you prefer analog (SHTF and EMP proof!) over digital, then the Lyman Reloading Data Log has everything you need. Comes with about 100 pages already three hole punched for a binder. Should you need more pages, it's pretty easy to make a copy. If you have Adobe, I believe you can scan and make a fillable sheet...no?
