Reloading manual recommendations

Its the 21st century, between handloads.com, reloadammo.com, and calguns you can
find loads for almost any cartridge. These should all probably be used suggestively, altough most manufacturers have reliable load data listed online now

Looks like Lyman will be the book to get.

I have it... I use it... Not a huge fan of it, though...

It's okay for normal, common calibers and they do have a secton on 44 Mag and 357 Mag rifle loading. Unfortunately, nothing for 41 Mag rifle loading, though. Its stuff like that, that bugs me about Lymans 49th.

What about for unusual calibers?

Don't expect the Lyman 49th edition to help you with this at all.

That is one of my chief complaints about this manual. It doesn't even have load data for 7.5 MAS, which isn't the most uncommon caliber.

Get a copy of Lee's "Modern Reloading". Much more info on less common calibers...

Lee and Lyman are both good. Everything else I'd only buy if you need information for a specific load, like the barnes manual for lead free bullets, etc.
