NEW RELOADING BENCH!!!

My new bench is finally finished. It took exactly 7 days to build. I started last Sunday and just finished.

This is what it looked like last Sunday.


First I cleaned it up.


Then I ripped out the old cabinets.


Ran some wire.


And then started dry walling.

More dry wall.


Put some mud up.




Started installing the cabinets.



And the finished product.


The cabinets came with a 5/8" top. Over that I put a 5/8" sheet of plywood. Over that 3/4" of counter top. That adds up to a total of 2". I could jump on it if I wanted to. There is no movement at all.

I bought all the cabinets at home depot. There were very inexpensive but worked fine.

Don't forget the "tactical doilies" so you don't soil your benchtop..

A couple coats of BLO or Tung Oil Fiish would really dress it up & help keeping it less dusty in the long run.

It's actually not plywood. It's laminate counter top.

Also the large cabinet on the right holds my air compressor. I installed PVC to carry the air around the garage.
