    PMC X-Tac 5.56

    Anybody ever shoot this stuff? My rifle will be ou of jail in 10 days and I'm searchng for ammo and stuff

    yep. goes bang every time. I think it might have steel in the core so a lot of indoor ranges won't allow it.

      My ARs like it, I wish I had more, I'm running low but other purchases are keeping me from stocking up.

        I've liked it in the past....and it is steel core. Not sure how good this price is, but $375 /1000 shipped at this site: http://unammo.com/ and they have other choices (PMC Bronze, Lake City, etc).

          X-TAC has two different version, 5.56X (M193 type) and 5.56K (M855 type). PMC also offer less expensive Bronze line .223 spec (223A) ammo which shoots just fine and is usually cheaper then XTAC. For range use you probably want to stick with 5.56X or 223A to avoid steel drama.
