    ammo cans in so-cal

Anyone know of a place that sells the 30 and 50 cal. ammo boxes in so-cal?
You can get them online, but the shipping kills the deal.
    Thanks!

Best deals are at gun shows.

Where abouts in SoCal ? There have been some base sales at 29 palms and camp pendleton through http://www.govliquidation.com/ .

And a few cans at a Barstow base.

I will save you all from looking further for ammo cans. Call (661) 313-2591 ask for Hilary. They live out in Santa Clarita and have a bunch of them. I havent spoken to them for some time but Im sure it will worth your time to find out. I dont remember the prices but were cheaper then gun shows and online and they are in new condition.

We are looking into buying a lot of ammo cans to pack orders in with our logo on the outside. Problem is we have to find a way to get 600+ ammo cans back home from San Diego
                Http://www.ShootForLess.com
We will match or beat anyones price on anything we carry or can get.

I don't know where you are, but they're sold at South Bay Gun Club in San Diego. http://www.sbrgc.org/ $4. each and 3/$10. We've got a bunch.

That's assuming the range is still there, what with the fires. The maps show it to be right in the middle of the Harris Fire.

Depending on what size your interested in you can pick them up at the base auctions for 1.50-2.00 each depending on who else is bidding on the auction and what kind of auction it is.

check the GL link I posted earlier.

I got a few at an Army surplus store in Tustin. And a couple 40mm grenade boxes.
