Cheap source for bulk corncob media (socal)?

I do not care if the size is large and gets stuck in flash hole as I run a U-deprimer in station 1 before loading that knocks the stuck media out.

Just need a source for 10-25lb bags corncob (NOT walnut) media for tumbling.

You can get a 10L bag (over 2.5 gallons) of the large grain stuff at Wal Mart for about $4

Just don't use it on .223 because it will get stuck in the necks.

Or you can get 25 lb bags of the fine grain stuff from Drillspot with free shipping.
    $26.93

      ^ why not on .223?
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Try feed stores. Most sell large (25lb+) bags for less than $10.

This stuff is excellent! Makes for nice, shiny cases with just a dab of NuFinish.

I made the mistake of using Wal-mart corncob to tumble .223 once. Most of them were clogged to the neck. It took a couple hours and a power drill to clear them all out.

Put them away somewhere dry for a few weeks. The media will dry and shrink and it'll be easier to clear out.

I'll keep that in mind. But, I doubt I'll ever do it again. I learned my lesson that time, lol.

I'm not a fan of Grainer, if you're within driving distance of Santa Fe Springs go down to McMaster-Carr. Will Call pickup is usually ready in 15 minutes.
