Unprecedented Demand for Reloading Supplies
There's no such thing as a former Marine. - General James F. Amos, 35th Commandant of the Marine Corps

Probably reality. Not sure why but thinking about your post and the constant backorder messages from precision delta I see and a delay in shipment of some ammo I bought from USA Ammo I would say it makes sense.
I know when I called USA asking about the ammo and why it hadn't shipped the lady was very nice and told me that, for some reason, there had been a rush of orders. I got my stuff about 5 days later no problem, just took a while.
As for component shortages, it could be the price of metals or the availability of them. Its hard telling. I know many people who are "stockpiling" for various reasons. -
^^^i am not sure what you are trying to say with your avatar, but I am sure that I do not like itComment

Price of Raw lead right now is about $.92/lb. So I doubt it's the fault of high metal prices for that specific commodity.. $.92/lb would translate to a raw cost of say 180 gr 40 cal lead bullets at 2.6 cents each.. this does not include labor or electricity to make it into a bullet..Comment

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Probably outdated reallity.
They had that message during the Great Ammo Drought when they were constantly backordered, especially on .357 Magnum.
I had thought they were caught up.
What are you looking for? I used to get my brass on the Swap & Sell board over on www.Castboolits.com. You're still lucky to find .357 Magnum brass but plenty of sellers with most anything else."He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

Wow, you must really have some pull around here to get my Avatar yanked. I've had it on here for a couple of weeks and you're the first to question it.
To be honest, I'm surprised that something so innocuous offended you. Since it was related to my location would you like me to change that too? As with the avatar, does it offend your delicate sensibilities?
I think you are reading a bit too much into what it was and what it represented. Kind of like if I interpreted your Av as Winnie the Poo being a blood thirsty
killer.
Given today's political climate in this state I found my Av rather appropriate, apparently I was wrong.
Well, since it was pulled down I will explain it for you. It was an Mexican Flag flying over an upside down American flag.
An upside down American flag is a widely known sign of distress and a well known symbol of a call for help. The Mexican flag flying over that is an overt reference to the fact that Mexico has taken America over and we need help.
Since I list my location as Mexifornia, it kind of tied in to that.Comment

Fair enough... I just find it odd that it's been there for a couple of weeks, in threads with other mods, and one complaint gets it yanked.
I'll be sure to send any other Av choices to five five six for verification prior to posting.Comment

I think we have enough his-pandering coming from the california legislature. I fail to see how that image was offensive...Comment
