I kid, I kid. I'd like to produce a similar version using raw motors rather than reclaim drills. I suspect your method is cheaper. I like it alot.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

How fast is the chamfer tool going? Looks pretty fast and I would be afraid of creating too deep of a cut. Looks good otherwise.Comment

Just had a thought for next time.
Bonus points for drilling your drill press clamp bars smaller on one side then tapping the holes so you don't need the nut to clamp in place. Just thread the screws in and good to go.
(I've deburred at 40-ish rpm and several hundred rpm and prefer several hundred. I use less pressure and time in the bit per cycle. Ultimately I cut the same amount of material with less effort and time. can you say production?)

non issue for a couple hundred brass, but after that ANYTHING I can do to make things even fractionally more ergonomic is good. Even if it is as simple as bucket placement, foot position, standing on concrete vs foam, working height, arm position, and yes cutter speed.Comment
