How to pull bullet off brass?

I crimped the bullet on the brass and want to know what tool (if any) exists out there from Lee, Hornady, etc, that I can screw on my Lee press to remove the bullet. My bullet shorter than what is spec and want to do things the right way.

Any out there?

you mean a collet puller like rcbs

you buy the die unit for like $20 and then collets are like $10 each

you need the one for the type of bullet

i got one only used it for like 50 bullets in .270

the hammer puller works good. no reason to be scared of the round going off, just dont hit the primer side

Its for a 30-06, supposed to be 3.36 long, mine came out to like 2.8. But the bullets i bought from big 5 are also shorter than spec, and it performed.

I like kinetic bullet pullers. They don't damage or mark up the bullet like a collet bullet puller will.

I already tried the kinetic puller, it doesn't work since the projectiles are crimped

Whack it harder.I've used a kinetic on crimped bullets many times, always with excellent results

You might think you're going to break the puller, but it's pretty tough.

Also, whack it on concrete. A table or bench will absorb some of the energy and lessen the effect.

Yeah, kinetic pullers also work with many calibers, so it saves you from having to buy different collets for a press-mounted puller. I use mine on concrete with a thin carpet on top. Not so loud. Others use it on a scrap of old tire.

I've pulled match bullets and if you do it right it won't mark them up or damage them in any way.

i use carpet on the garage floor and hit it hard to get crimped bullets out. no problems at all.

what bullets are you using?

can you measure a bullet, tip to base, as i cant see you being .560" short.
