How would a normal person (non FFL) go about shipping ammo legally. Are there any restrictions or extra cost involved.

Don't forget the ORM-D sticker -Comment

You can now use the "Limited Quantity" diamond label instead of the "ORM-D CARTRIDGES, SMALL ARMS" label for ammo shipments.

If you prefer the ORM-D label you can keep using it until the end of 2013. Remember that it has to include the exact words "Cartridges, Small Arms" on it. After 2013 the limited quantity diamond label is required. It doesn't have anything on it that mentions what's inside the package. Here's a link to the thread where you can print up both kinds of labels...
UPS rules forbid third party retail locations like The UPS Store from accepting ammo shipments. You have to give them to your UPS driver or take them to a real UPS staffed facility.Last edited by Mssr. Eleganté; 08-11-2011, 12:47 AM.__________________
