Much better...when you said you did by hand, I pictured you turning the shellholder by hand to trim the brass.....that's why I gave a

That is why I chuck the cutter and gauge in the drill (not the shellholder and stud), it's much easier to manipulate removing the brass from the holder. I have a snap on screwdriver that accepts the lock stud\shellholder\brass....very easy to place brass in and out of....but, yes...it's still some work

Freon, thank you very much! I just heard of the Hollow Possum today after seeing your post, and I'm very confident that I'll pick one up soon. Prior to seeing your post, I was actually looking at the Dillon 1200, but I am ALWAYS looking to save money.

Add the forster 3 way cutter to your trimmer and you will be a happier reloader!

Try it with a 1K lot of brass, it's quicker than you think, but then I'm an old wildcatter where the first trim must be with a hacksaw and then a file. Us old guys use files for about everything including complete action contouring, bolt handle conversions, even trimming hooves. I knew it, he fell asleep on me. so im thinking the possum hollow trimmer, or the lee case guage and trimmer.
which one would be a better choice? im kinda leaning toward the possum trimmer...

whats the best way to debur the cases?

No thanks, I'll stick with my Giraud. It is painful enough (I hate case prep).

Anyone here try the RCBS 3-way cutter head? Looks more complicated then the Forster and I have an old RCBS case trimmer. Getting tired of three stepping these cases.

Case should be trimmed about .010 shorter than the max case length.
